  • Keep the noise of your cinema room or drum practice inside
  • Keep the noise of nearby traffic or singing birds on the outside, especially when on a conference call
  • Have the option to keep light out of your room

Only properly insulated garden rooms are going to achieve these desired qualities. The environment that you need to create inside your new space will be defined by the use that you intend putting that space to. This can change!

At Swift we ensure that all of our insulated garden rooms achieve excellent standards that allow you to control all of the basic elements of your surroundings. In addition, if you have a specific need then we have the resources to produce exactly what your room has to deliver.

The levels of insulation in our garden rooms already meet or exceed those required by current building regulations. The SIPS panel construction methods are renowned for their ability to produce a building that has impressive heat and sound retention statistics. They building blocks of your “detached extension” are predominantly insulative foam, encased in robust timber boarding. A perfect combination of strength and sound/heat-proofing.

Our glazing specifications will vary according to your tastes and preferences, and in all cases the materials used will be of high quality and will perform beautifully. Argon filled glass, special coatings and tints, thermally “broken” frames that prevent the transfer of cold or heat are all examples. Furthermore, extra acoustic deadening layers, extra thick SIP panels and triple glazing are all available.

For the perfectly insulated garden rooms, we are able to select the most contemporary and ground breaking technology... heated glass panels, solar panels and additional cosseting built-in air cavities etc.
